Spotter Ready is designed to keep your data on your device. We do not collect personal data through the app. The app does not require an account, does not include advertising, and does not use tracking or analytics services operated by us.
Information We Collect
Spotter Ready does not collect, transmit, sell, rent, or share personal data. We do not operate a user account system, a developer cloud database, or an in-app analytics profile for users of the app.
Data Stored On Your Device
The app stores your Spotter Ready data locally on your device. This may include rifle profiles, loads, optics, environmental settings, target cards, reticles, chronograph sessions, shot logs, and app preferences.
You control this local data. If you use Backup and Restore, the app creates or reads a JSON backup file that you choose where to save, move, or import. We do not receive those backup files unless you separately choose to send them to us outside the app.
Device Permissions
Spotter Ready may request device permissions so specific app features can work. These permissions are used for the feature you choose and are not used by us to collect personal data.
- Location: used when you request live weather, sunrise/sunset calculations, Coriolis-related inputs, or other location-based calculations.
- Bluetooth: used to connect supported weather meters, chronographs, or related field devices.
- Camera and photos: used for tools such as camera range estimation or reticle image import.
- Microphone and speech recognition: used for voice command features when enabled.
- Files or storage: used when you import or export backups, tables, graphs, chronograph files, reticles, or other app-generated files.
Third-Party Services
Some optional features may interact with services or systems outside Spotter Ready, such as app stores, your operating system, weather services, email apps, file providers, or connected Bluetooth devices. Those services are governed by their own privacy practices.
Children's Privacy
Spotter Ready is not directed to children under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

The app or website may contain links to websites or services that are not operated by us. We are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of those third-party sites or services.
